    I never said 338 checks are larger than 35 caliber checks. I said 338 checks are larger than 348 checks. I meant I. D. - as in fitting on the gas check shank. 338 checks have an I. D. of .330 - thickness .010, 348 checks I. D. .321 - thickness .017.
