    Talking Michigan members???????

This came up in another thread. I know of a few already but was just curious how many fellow "Michiganders" we actually have here.

I'll start it off by checking in from Birch Run.

    Sound off!

Houghton, but about two generations ago; Grandpa moved to CA back when you could still pot jackrabbits off the platform of the Hollywood-to-Los Angeles trolley car.

Ann Arbor, Im one of the 3 guys left that was born here.I live about 10 miles from the "Big house"in a township that still is run by farmers. That is changing as they pass on.You cant make the taxes on 1.60 corn. At least I have a range in the back yard.Critters and game everywhere.
If shooting, fixing, making and thunking were easy.Everyone would be doing it.

    justifiable, and praiseworthy.

BORN in Detroit in '43, and spent the remaining WWII years with my Mother and her folks in Houghton, waiting for Dad to come home from the Canadian Army.

Moved to Canada in '47 once he finished his degree at MCMT, and have never lived in Michigan since then. Still, I have a strong feeling of "identity" with all Yoopers, wherever they may be. Great country.

Born in Flint. Grew up in Traverse City and went to school in Houghton. Cigerette froze out as I crossed campus for a job interview.Took Job in So. Cal. Now retired, looking to move back or closer and turning into a snow bird.

I'm from Saginaw. Grew up there and moved to suburban Chicago area in the 80's for a job. I've escaped and am now working in Huntsville, Alabama.

you guys that still live here just a heads up Mark Stevenson lives in Grayling and puts together a shoot every summer. Its a low keyed thing where you just shoot what ya brung. More plinking and shootin the breeze then anything. All the money donated goes toward muscular distrophy. I think this year the shoot will be in august. anyone intersted in gettting on a contact list email me at lws43@hotmail.com

I live in Roscommon. Lived there since 1941 after moving there from Mio where I was born. Have been a Snowbird since I took an early out retirement from Shell Oil Co. in 1993. As soon as firearm deer season ends, I'm outta there for sunny South Florida.
