Fish_N_Russ,
The Lee 255 RNFP has worked well for me in my .45 Colt Marlin Cowboy. Favorite loads 8.0/231 or 8.5/Unique or Universal for 1,200 f.p.s.
4227 gets the nod if I want to go faster.

I have used three lee molds in my 45-LC marlins. The RNFP 255 gr, 200 gr RNFP and the 200 gr TL SWC. They all work well for what I load them for. I use the SWC for small game and the 200 gr FP for SASS matches while the heavier bullet is for hunting larger game such as deer and wild pigs. The SWC does a nice job punching a large hole through rabbits and other small critters.
