    Question Mix Ratio , Lino & pure lead

    I have a friend that has come into about three hundred pounds of pure lead . He wants to make it as hard as his Wheel Weight bullets .
    He wants to make 30 pound batches . He wants to know how much Linotype to mix in a 30 pound batch to make it as hard as his ww batches ?? I did not know so I thought I would ask the MIx Masters !!!!!!

    2 parts lead to 1 part Lino will get you real close

    If I had 300 lbs of pure lead, I would try to trade it to someone who NEEDS pure lead for a much greater quantity of WW's (don't forget that you will lose about 10% of the weight of the ww's to the steel clips). You would be helping both yourself AND the trading partner.
