    Texan 7 hole turret press

Acquired one of these recently. Getting it cleaned up for use - always wanted a turret press. Anyways…. Does the big bolt on top need to be loosened before rotating turret or is something amiss? Seems there should be a flat bushing or washer somewhere in the assembly. The ball bearing and spring are there but maybe I need a new spring..? Also, do the linkage pins simply tap out? Also missing primer post but I’ve read one can turn one on a lathe from a bolt. Maybe someone has an exploded diagram or advice to share.

I would think loosen the steel cap with a rubber strap wrench if it's stuck and clean everything and grease. Someone that owns this press will likely be along. I'm looking at a picture of one so I don't have much to go on.

I don't think the original poster ever came back. He was looking for a parts diagram and disassembly instructions.

He hasn’t been on the Forum at all for a couple of weeks. Hope he’s OK. He was pretty active for a while there. Regardless, his thread stimulated additions to the corporate store of knowledge so that’s a good thing.
