Do you know if there's any source of brass for 25-36 marlin
I make them for a buddy from 25-35 cases. He bought the dies, after fire forming just neck size. They're slightly short initially according to the few originals I have measured, but seem to flow to +/- a couple thousandths after a few firings.
I have heard that using 38-55 brass as a parent case fixes the length problem - especially the long version from starline.
I had heard that there either is or will be 'Winchester Basic" brass available from someplace, but I haven't ever seen it. I'm betting that it would be extra long so as to accommodate all with the same basic case.

That's what I do too I was looking for some headstamp brass
"Reloading Brass USA" shows in stock. But it's Qual Cart brass who hasn't made anything for a hot minute, maybe check them out.

I always heard that you can just use 25-35 winchester. How much difference is there?
There is some pictures in this thread on cartridge collectors - https://forum.cartridgecollectors.or...marlin/63583/7 I don't contribute much because it's over my head. Sure is interesting though.
