    FX dynamic

    Yes I was extravagant.
I got the .35 caliber, FX Dynamic rifle. 600MM barrel length. Ordered some FX 68 grain Hybrid slugs to go along with the rifle.
The destructions I read said to fire the rifle at least 100 times before attempting to tune the rifle.
Darn it, those slugs are a little spendy to just blow off a 100 of them.

Ah, but I'm a bullet caster, and a fan of .35's, plus tolerate 9mm. Really did not have to dig to deep to find some Lee 95 T I 356-95-RF just ready for my hungry air rifle. After firing just 10, I located the mold, melted some soft lead 2% SN and made some more.
    These are shooting pretty good.

The magazine is to shallow to take most bullets 120 grains or heavier, but the NOE 359-115-RF-R2 grain might fit. My measurement of mag depth is about .530 Noe's site shows length as .495.

My regulator pressure is near 135 BAR, I can get about 34 shots from a 250 BAR fill. After some break in, I plan to tune the rifle for about 20 shots per fill, that should get me a boost in velocity. The gun was shipped claiming 840 fps with 82. grain pellet.

I have not broke out the chronograph yet, so have no info on velocity with the Lee bullet.

    Keep us posted.

When you have the time, results at 100 yards would be interesting.

I put seven FX hybrid slugs int a group 2 inches wide by just under 1 inch tall at 102 yards. My cast 95 grain bullets went into about a 4 inch group.
I need to shim or replace the optic because the FX slugs hit 2" low with the dial turned all the way up. The cast are hitting about 6 inches low.
Planning to stick some foil tape on a mold face to make the bullets a bit larger, then size them back down for some better size uniformity

I have a different optic installed, the 25 yard groups fired in the back yard are showing some promise.
The first optic was really electronic, it did have some lag time. I am hoping for better results with a true optic.
Good snow fall expected here today, might make to the range Monday for some longer range shooting.

A couple of 100 yard 8 shot groups, two shots went off the paper on the first one. These are with the FX hybrid slugs. Groups fired with my cast Lee TL-95 grain are spreading to 8".
