My 450 has started leaking out from underneath. Is there an O-ring on the bottom? I couldn't find an online drawing.

yes there is.
It is an odd size. From my notes, it is a National #023 (1-1/16" ID X 1-3/16" OD X 1/16" cross section diameter)

Thanks
You can also cut a thin piece of card stock or cardboard to the shape of the base and bolt it between the 450 and the heater. Works on my 45s that don't have an O-Ring at the bottom.
If you are using a heater you can turn it down a bit and thicken the lube so it's not so 'fluid'

I have all three variants and they all leak a bit from the pressure screw which has no seal, the 450 & 4500 more so when used with a heater.
The 450 is unique in the fact that the base has a steel insert in the cast body where the pressure screw passes thru. Unless damaged this shouldn’t leak. The quickest way to wreck any one of them is to crank on the pressure screw with cold or hard lube.
1inbrdg the Lyman website has the manual for the 4500 which also includes the parts breakdown for the 450 as well, operationally they are pretty much the same.
Mine is old and leaked at the bottom. I took an Austrian Schilling and put it underneath and tightened the bench bolts-- never has leaked since. (Why an Austrian Schilling? Just happened to be the right diameter)

Thanks!
Received 50 from Amazon today, will install tomorrow if all works out.
All of the old design 450s seem to leak. Their machine work on them was atrocious. I went through a half dozen or so before I found one that sized decently straight. Then I sold it and bought a Star. Here's an old article from The Perfesser on the lengths he went to to straighten one out. Legend has it that he still owns it. http://web.archive.org/web/201205250...berRebuild.htm
