    NOS sealed boxes of 30-06

I just found a few original, still sealed boxes of 30-06 military ammo. I remember really catching hell for opening one several years ago.

    Photos? Description?
Rights, and Privileges, are not synonymous. We have the Right to Bear Arms. As soon as the Government mandates firearm registration, and permiting, then that Right becomes a Privilege, and may be taken away at our Master's discretion.

USGI 30-06 goes from 1906 to the 1970s, can you give us a date, manufacturer, or photos? They also came in lots of different flavors................

Some USGI 30-06 actually predates 1906, the arsenals trimmed 30-03 brass down to size, and loaded the M1906 bullet.

Ten boxes of 1943? Vintage 30/06 AP in the original boxes, one box opened. In their own ammo can. Beige paper, green and yellow stripes. It’ll probably go last.
I firmly believe that you should only get treated by how you act, not by who or what you are!!

I've read the AP was preferred over ball for accuracy.

AP used a longer, heavier, boat tailed bullet. Most lots of WW2 AP were considered more accurate than M2 ball. There were enormous quantities of 1944 and 1945 AP manufactured for the Army and Marines. A friend of mine, still living at 98, told me he used AP exclusively on Okinawa, and with his Highpower and Distinguished Rifleman background, he should know...................

Sorry guys, lost track of this thread, it is not sending me notifications. While I do have a lot of AP it is not in new, sealed boxes. I will get some pics in the next day or so and post them up.
