How's the math on that working for him?

I see 1K lb pallets on rotometals for a buck nineteen a pound plus LTL shipping, but that's the only "deal" I see there. I get my pure lead locally for 50 cent a lb at one place, and a buck a pound at the other.

Maybe the local shooter got started in casting and then changed his mind or had somebody close that changed his mind.

Bought a Lortone tumbler at the flea market for 25cents. It was in the bottom of a box of stuff. Asked the price. Young lady with a shiny new engagement ring said 25 cents. I told her I'd give $10. She looked her fiance in the eye and said "No. 25 cents". Broke out the quarter and left with my new to me Lortone. Thing works really good and quiet.

One of my connections through marketplace that's in the construction business hit me up today with 50ish pounds of soft lead sheet he tore out from under a shower somewhere. It's good to have connections like him. Has me on speed dial and knows what I'm looking for.
