I just tried your darker blue. I'm new at this. I recently started casting again after a 40 year break. I stopped casting long before powder coating came along. I did try it once about ten years ago with Harbor Freight Red and some de-lubed bullets. It worked but took two coats.
I originally wanted red for no other reason than the bullets I've been buying from commercial casters have all been red. You were a little short on red so I agreed to a substitute of a 1/4 pound of blue to make up the order. I haven't tried the red yet and I'm a little afraid I'm going to be disappointed when I do because this blue came out about as good as one could expect. Bear in mind I'm working through how much to use etc. and working with a donated old toaster oven. Your powder is making me look good because I have no clue what I'm doing outside of reading and watching what everybody else is doing.
A couple of old molds I held onto: RCBS-150-KT .39 SWC and a Lee 410-208-WC .41 full wadcutter. Thanks!
That Signal Blue is the best powder I have for first time coaters. It just sticks to almost anything
having the Oven temp at an actual 400 degrees, Starting curing countdown AFTER powder glosses over and Signal Blue powder and its hard to mess up
PS Those look perfect..
