Cinnamon Buns

I am looking for a good Cinnamon Bum recipe. I have tried several recipes from the internet but are not what my wife made before her death. If you have a recipe please list so I can try.

Mom used a bread dough made with a little sugar(sweet bread recipe, many online...) rolled out 1/2 inch thick. Smeared with butter, sprinkled with cinnamon sugar, roll that up tight. Cut into 1" thick rounds(piece of thread or fine fishing line works well for this) and place in pans spaced apart 1 inch or so(farther apart the thinner they bake, closer they rise higher and bake thicker). Let rise then bake.

Do a quickie search for 'cinnabon copycat recipes'.
There's a few out there calling for yeast. I've tried a few and can't tell the difference.

Don't for get the chopped pecans. Are you looking for sticky ones or the regulars?

One casino I worked for used to serve a caramel roll that was the size of a desert plate... thing was massive. It was out 9AM fuel to get thru to 1pm lunch when on the constant run...
