    500 JRH Load Help

I’m trying to get some load data for the 325 Swift AFrame and Vihtiviouri N110 powder. So far the results have not been very good. From what I understand, this bullet may be similar enough to the 350 XTP that load might be similar. I’ve tried 24-26 grains with CCI 300 primers and the resulting accuracy is terrible and velocity spread is also terrible. Not having these issues with my 454. Thanks for the help fellas!

The bullets are similar enough to use the same load Data. Look and even measure from Base to the crimp groove. They are the same. You can go as High as 35.0 grs of H110 or W296 I have used 34grs and 34.5grs with decent results. Vhitavouri is NOT the powder for this particular one. I suggest that you use some Hornady XTP to work up some loads,,, then change over to the Swift. The Swift are just tooo Pricey, for practice,,, But they sure work. BTW FYI The XTP 350gr is supposed to be great for HOGS. I just haven't got to verify this yet. But I would think that a well placed shot with either (right behind the ear) would bring home the bacon. If you get a chance let us know of your results. I need to take a pic of my Target using these.

Cherokee I am wondering why that is? I thought that a slightly faster powder like n110 would actually be better with the 325gr bullets than a slower powder like H110/296? Isn’t faster powder usually better with light for caliber bullets? Maybe I’m confused.
