    45-90 from WRA 45-70 brass?

Sorting through my 45-70 stuff I found a bag of 45-90 brass.
More stuff I did not know I had.

Got looking at it and found several rounds head stamped WRA 45-90 but the rest are head stamped WRA 45-70 yet are the same length as the 45-90 cases plus they look to have been annealed.

Did not know you could stretch 45-70 out to 45-90?

    Thoughts on this find?

Buffalo Arms used to sell a lot of stretched brass.

I've got a bunch of brass as well that's stamped 45/70 but is 45/90 in length. I believe it's RP HS.

I don't believe it is feasible to stretch brass at home. I may be wrong on this, but I haven't heard of any way to do it.

With that said, if stretched brass is your only option, go for it. I for one would rather start out with normal thickness brass, stretching it has to come from somewhere.
