    50 Alaskin to 50-95

    Hello all,
As the title says, I am going to be forming 50 Alaskin to 50-95.
    First time at re-forming anything.
Threads say it's not bad, just run the 50 Alaskin thru the 50-95 sizer.
It doesn't look to be much smooshing.
Regular sizing lube or a special forming lube ?
Any other words of wisdom ??
    Thanks
    Ross

Trim to length, (they will probably shorten a bit when you fire form). Lube your cases and run them through your sizing die. pretty much it. I use lee case lube or Hornady ultimate lube.

I cut cases a touch long and chamfer and deburr , then size in dies then trim to length , chamfer and deburr again , and load after seating my bullets the case looks straight upon firing it has a nice shoulder again .

I bought a harbor freight cut off saw small one and swapped out the metal blade with teeth for a cutting disk .

    I'd use Imperial Sizing Wax.

+1 on the Imperial Was or the Royal version from Brownells. Easy to wipe off with a rag when you are done sizing. Not so with the oil, it has to be washed/tumbled off. james
