Is your rifle an English double with Cordite data on the rifle?

If so, there is a formula to use Reloder 15 as a substitute that will regulate quite nicely. I did it for multiple English double rifles in multiple different calibers and it worked like a charm. Cordite load times 1.15, if memory is correct. Cross check before using, please!

Ross Seyfried wrote about it years ago.

5744 and TrailBoss can also be used to make "plinker" loads.

Although a 450 N.E. stretches the definition of a plinker.

Sabatti double. The above load is not a plinker load. I use it to shot deer here in ohio.

    500gr boolit, 78 gr 4831?

I'd have a hard time trying to figure out which end is more dangerous than the other.
