Will the same ones used for lubed bullet shooting, simply sized down work? Or, does it require a new mold / bullet?

Generally speaking you will want a smaller in diameter bullet to patch up to groove diameter. It is possible to patch up smaller diameter grease groove bullets but excess sizing to a diameter that would allow patching can be destructive to accuracy.
BIG OR SMALL I LIKE THEM ALL, 577 TO 22 HORNET.
Usually a new mould is required since these are a different dia.
You need to decide if you want to patch to bore dia or groove dia.
I patch to bore dia in 38,40 and 45 caliber. In 45 caliber .458 bullet dia for grease grooves. bore is .450
My bullet is a smooth sided from a brooks mould that drops 20-1 at .441-.442 2 wraps of paper bring it to .4503-.4505 this just slides into the bore with a light friction fit. this allows a min seating depth. my bullets are only .125-.187 into the case almost a breech seated round.
I wrap with out a tail the fold over the base leaves a small circle of the base showing in the center.
My loading uses a .060 rubber fiber wad from napa gasket material and 2 typing paper wads.
You want the ends of the patch to almost meet after the 2 wraps a small gap is prefered to save a bump from the overlap.
I cut my patches and put them in a ziplock bag with a few drops of JOJOBA oil and let them sit for a couple days to wet and lubricate the patches.
You will want to make your own patch template for the best fit.
When you start this you want to recover the patches, they can tell you a lot. The patch should come off at the muzzle or very close to it. the outer wrap will be confetti you see on firing. the inner wrap will be recovered intact with the fold over it will show rifling and shouldnt be burned or to much damage.
I'll give you the same advise that Dave Gullo (at Buffalo Arms) gave me. Before you cough up the money for a mold which can run you anywhere from a hundred on up, buy a small assortment of bullets for patching and see if you want to proceed with the practice. That way you aren't stuck with a mold you don't want or need. Ask anyone who has done it, it's way different rules than you have ever experienced with plain old cast bullets with lube grooves. I currently patch for every Sharp's caliber except 45 2 7/8 and everyone of them likes a different bullet patch/powder granulation/bullet length. You had better enjoy load development. If you stick with it, it can be a very satisfying branch of shooting. Be sure to ask questions if your unsure, there are a bunch of people here that really know paper patching and will fall all over themselves to help. Please let us know as you proceed.

Paper patch bullets are more sensitive to length for the twist than grease groove. Staying a bit under what the twist will handle goes along way. Start with a bullet with the diameter .004-.006 under bore diameter before patching.
Long range rules, the rest drool.
Paper Patch bullets are different ball game, I prefer them to GG, I find them easer and a lot less messy. If you have a standard chamber (designed to shoot GG bullets) I suggest you do some more research and consider a DDPP (Dual Diameter Paper Patch) bullet mold. After going down a LONG road of various molds and paper combinations that is where I ended up. I shoot both 40 and 45 cal and with the right mold and paper combination it is shoot, deprime, clean, and reload.
