The 32 H&R isn’t “original” but brass is a lot easier to come by than 32-20. Both of my low wall 32s started out as 32 RF and the more successful ws an early flare side… it became a 32 H&R. It got sold years ago when the next shiny thing came along. The second one was a thin side and wasn’t even rechambered, so it accepted 32 RF or by changing blocks became a 32 Colt Long. Unfortunately, I traded it for a Maynard 1873. Then the Maynard got traded, and then, and then, and then…
Due to my age and the steeply rising price of the 100 year old plus original ‘walls, I decided to make my last major new build would be a Ruger #3 in 327 Fed Mag. I’ve discussed that elsewhere. I do have all of the parts for my engraved thin side low wall with a Grn Mtn barrel in 25-20 SS, but they’ll probably have to bury me with those unfinished parts!
