    I have an 8 cavity H&G mold and it is a beast. I have an old ProMelt and found a shelf kit made out of aluminum. Even with the shelf
    I am usually ready to give it up after the second pot full of alloy, but that pile of bullets is pretty big. I think that particular mold and handles
    is about 8+ pounds empty. Please don't quote me on that.

    One thing about those old molds, you get them hot and they stay hot for a while.

    Jsizemore- I fixed your problem from another post. I got a couple of roll pins and 2 set screws to make a smooth bottom mold. No more protruding screws.
    I took one of the handle screws to the local hardware store to get the correct threads for the set screws.

    I don't care what others might say. Those look like some neat lightweight projectiles to make some real powder-puff gallery loads for women and kids. I might have to create something like that for myself.
