    let me know if shimming the shell holder doesn't work because I have another thought / suggestion.

    Maybe remove some material from bottom of sizing die ???

    Removing metal is permanent. Good and old advice is to alter the least expensive and most easily replaced part. In this cases, the shellholder. Once you cut down the die, who's going to want it when it is time for it to move on?

    Yes, I'm reluctant in altering die or shell holder to work best with only one gun. I like the idea of shimming the shell holder as I only need a to push the shoulder back a couple of thousands or so.
