    PSA: Making 410 Brass Shells

    (1) 7x57R brass makes a nice 410 case. Cheaper than 444 Marlin brass and is readily available.

    (2) RCBS #35 shell holder fits the 7x57R case.

    Ya'll have fun!

I have 444 brass and it works but the extractor in my gun doesn't catch the rim of the brass. Does the 7mmr brass have a bigger rim?

I am testing in a Stevens 94C, and I am not experiencing any fitment issues.

FRKelly: the rim of the 7x57R is a bit larger than the 444 Marlin. This was one reason I wanted to try this case.

Racepres: I can't say if you will need to thin the rim for your application. It does measure slightly thinner than 303 Brit.

Works excellent, IF you can find it. And have the funds...
I am building legless yard critter and pigeon rounds, so 2 1/4" be good enough.
