And you just gotta! LOL! Long disertation/not sure what will work best/new to me old stock rifle.
I know my son's 50 will shoot the .490s well with std patch. I previously had a 50 that, even with heavy patch, the 490's didn't do all that well. Gone
Recently got a 58/went with a .575 ball mold - good results.
For this new 50/same model as the 58/expecting similar results as 58...
I would say I would would prefer/be best to start with a .495 and adjust fire from there.
