    Hellcat Results

    Well Good results that is
Last week I tried 5.5 gr of AA #5 , LEE 356-120-TC as I had them cast and powder coated
RWS 9 mm cases , CCI SP primers
OAL was ..... errr not measured
I used a 125 gr HP round to set the OAL a while back and have never changed it

That load shot good out of the Hellcat so I loaded 500+ to practice with

I just got back from the indoor range
Out of the Hellcat with a Shield Mini Red Dot
    At 3 , 5 , 7 and 10 yards I shot 12 shots each set of 12 shots was taken pretty quick
    A 2" x 3" group
At 25 yards I shot a 6 shot group and then put 45 more shots into another target
The 6 shot group was just over 2 1/2" and the 45 shot group was 3" x 4" ( I was the problem IMO for several high shots )

I also made sure all 5 of the mags that came with the pistol worked

So nice to have a fob to get into the indoor range and shoot by myself

I don't have any history of targets shot, but my Hellcat Pro is impressing me more all the time. Not failures or stoppages of any kind. Only problem is loading mags to full capacity (I usually don't) Thought was going to break my Upula device GW

Is AA #5 Accurate No. 5 ?? Is it the same propellant? I bought an 8lb jug of Accurate No. 5 and found that 7 grs works good in my 1911's and runs my M1A1 Thompson quite well.

AA#5 is what I load all my pistol calibers with except 45 ACP ( I have several # of Clays left over from loading 12 ga target loads). It's roughly the same speed as Unique (slightly slower) but, in my guns, I've got better accuracy than when I used Unique.
