WTB .22 Savage Hi Power Mold, Brass, Ammo, Bullets

I just bought my 1st Savage 1899 (never shot one, but always thought they were cool)

    It's a take-down carbine, Caliber .22 Savage Hi-Power.

    I have a Hornady die set & a .228 lube size die.

    I'm looking for:
    FOUND 30-30 Brass
(with the correct headstamp ?, if the cost is way out or if I can't find any then it's on to forming them.)
I just started research but it sounds like 30-30 or 25-35 Winchester are it.

Bullet mold(s) .228 dia. should be it

Bullets, lead or jacketed to try out.

Shoot me a pm with what you have & price.

    Thank you for help.

Grafs has 22 HP brass in stock. Not cheap at 2.70 ea but headstamp is correct.

Norma used to make 5.6x52R brass, if you don’t mind the metric designation on the headstamp.

Thanks for the info but I think I could survive without the correct at the rate or scrounge up the odd box of factory loaded stuff here & there.

I did that with 8mm Lebel, it was a better deal to buy the loaded ammo than buy the components.

I have thousands of .228 High Power bullets. Let me look at them and consider if I can part with any, no guarantees. I've been a devotee of that cartridge for quite a while. As for brass, you're way better off making it out of .25-35 or .30-30 - European 5.6x52R stuff is always slightly smaller in case head diameter than what you want for a sloppy old Savage chamber - case life suffers. Swaging parent brass down to HP dimensions is quick and easy. Lyman .228 molds are rare, better off spending some coin for a custom mold.

Is this what you are looking for? They are all factory loads but not the same head stamp.
