My Experience with Almighty God.

I'd like to share my experience with everyone.

I was very sick 2 years ago when the new virus first came out, and I was in pretty bad shape. I laid in bed 10 days, eating and drinking very very little. Everything tasted weird. My wife made me jello and said I told her it didn't taste right. On the tenth day, I sat up to pee in a bottle and I couldn't pee. I thought I must be severely dehydrated! I told Christina (my wife) that I wanted to go to the hospital. She called Dana (a friend) to come get us and take me. Christina said it took me 30 minutes to make it from the bed to the car because I was so weak.

In the car on the way, I don't remember much. I just laid there. Dana drives like a nascar driver when she ain't in a hurry, so, she was jostling me all about. I said, "do you feel it, do you feel it?" I was feeling the Holy Ghost really strongly.

I reached back and grabbed Christina's hand. She said it was only a few seconds, but I stopped breathing.

During that time, I went to Heaven, just outside the walls of Heaven. I saw a wall, it was pure white, with texture, similar to stucco, but unlike any material I've ever seen. There was a large gate that we were standing in front of. I saw angels flying over the wall in the distance, and I heard a sound I couldn't quite make out. It was the sound of angels singing; celebrating because someone on earth had repented and turned to the Lord.

Before me was 3 figures. In the center was God, on the left was Peter, on the right was Jesus. I didn't see God clearly, and I couldn't see his face at all. I couldn't make him out because he was so bright. But I could see Peter and Jesus. They were all dressed in white robes. But unlike any robes I've seen on this Earth. Peter had a shorty, puffy, white beard. Jesus had shoulder length hair, a goatee of sorts that came into a short beard.

The white light was amazing. It didn't hurt my eyes, I could see just fine, but it was unlike any light I've ever seen. It was the opposite of darkness. The same way when you're in a dark room and darkness comes all around you, the light was the same but opposite. There wasn't any shadows behind an object, because the light was there.

And it was warm, but not like warmth from the sun. A different kind of warmth. It was the radiant warmth of Love.

God spoke to me and said, "Are you ready to come home, or do you want to go back?" I was overwhelmed with emotion and was nearly crying, and I said "I want to watch that baby grow up." God said "Okay, but you're going to go through some trials." I said again "I want to watch that baby grow up." (My son was 2 at the time.)

I started to come back, and I said "Wait, I have a question!" I stopped moving away and came back and God said "What is it?" I asked, "Please heal my wife." Then I returned. I didn't hear an audible answer.

I moved away quickly and the light faded. The next instant I gasped for air back in the car. I took a breath and gasped differently than if I'd been holding my breath. It was the spirit of life coming back into my body.

Christina said it was only a few seconds, but it was probably 2 or 3 minutes for me.

Since that experience, I've had a long hard recovery, but I've had a lot of spiritual growth. Instead of being saved and just believing enough that I won't go to hell, I decided I needed to get right spiritually, I needed to be on fire for God, for myself, for my family, and for Him. God loves us so much that he was going to accept me "Home" without me having done anything other than believe. God loves us!

That is an amazing story! My own confrontation with God was not as dramatic, but no less real.

I’m glad to share. I debated a while before I did, but felt lead to do so.

God knows what it takes to get my attention, and this is what it took for me. I often wonder, what would have happened if I’d chose to stay. Guess I’ll find out when my time is up on this earth, I can’t wait!

Thanks all for the blessings and kind words. I shared here because I felt led to do so, which was a whole lot easier than standing up in front of a bunch of strangers at a church where I am visiting and telling folks, I'll tell ya that much.

That experience started me on a path of spiritual growth. Before I was somewhat complacent; after I had the thought "Every day I am here is a gift, another day that I can do something to further God's will and his kingdom." I began reading the bible more, and working to read it through, I read several books by Christian authors, as I had a chance. I felt led to change churches and found one that is helping me grow spiritually. And God has been working in my life ever since.

The light sure makes you want to live right so you get to go back! Man, I can't imagine someone seeing that and not keeping on the straight and narrow afterward.
