TC percussion 6 in 1 tool

Found a Thompson Center tool #7074 new in package. It is a 6-1 combination tool .
    Nipple hole cleaner
    Converts to nipple wrench
    Decaps live percussion caps
    Holds extra nipple
    Storage area for 6 caps
Body converts to adjustable black powder measure 50-120 grs
Almost don't want to open package in case it's a rare item. Anyone have one?

    If I was you.
I would keep it in the package for a collectors item.
Since they are not made any more , there has to be collectors that would be paying good prices for them in the future.

Yes that is what I'm going to do. Been scanning the web and have not found even a picture of one.

there's one on an auction site for $46 shipped. Looks like a paperclip, an empty percussion cap can, and a nipple wrench and powder measure from a fired 45 70 case would do almost as well. And would be lighter to carry. Really neat gadget, though. Never saw one since 1970. I would hate to lose one of the pieces.

That looks like it could come in handy, it also would be a fun lathe project.

Nice looking ML tool; why did it go out of production? I am surprised it is not cloned by China to flood the USA market?

If you never use it someday your $40 thingie will sell for $50 and you'll never get any use out of it.

If you are looking for big profits collect something else. Open that thing and toss it in your range bag.

Things like that tool do well to Boot the price up if you are selling a rifle.
Especially to collectors rather than shooters.

If it is something you really want $46 is not a lot.
I would use it, but then, I never sell anything.
