    Picked up this tool - What is it ??

    Picked up a box of assorted reloading tools, this was in there - Not sure if it even has anything to do with reloading.
    No markings
    - any ideas ??

    First thought is a adjustable core cutter. Cuts lead wire for swaging bullets Next answer GW

    Yeah, looks like it could be used for cutting cores. Bolt it to the side of a bench with the three holes in a triangle. Then adjust the bolt for the length of cut desired. With the handle in the upwards position, insert the lead wire, and then press down on the handle to cut the core....
    Currently looking for a Lyman/Ideal 311419 Mold - PM if you have one you'd like to get rid of!

    Positive ID: core cutter. I have its twin with my swaging equipment.
    Rights, and Privileges, are not synonymous. We have the Right to Bear Arms. As soon as the Government mandates firearm registration, and permiting, then that Right becomes a Privilege, and may be taken away at our Master's discretion.

    It is a core cutter. I sold one last spring. I think the one I had was made by C&H.
