need load data for 33 Winchester

    Have data for jacketed.

Need data for 200 grain NOE#340201 Gas Checked.
    Have Unique, Reloder 7, W 748, IMR 4895.

Want something to get 1700+ FPS for potential deer hunt. Also lighter load for practice.

Seems like I could start with 10 grains Unique for the practice ammo?

(Store also has IMR 4198, Bullseye, Red Dot, Green Dot if necessary)

Following the paths made by others:

I would also like to mention that there is a gent in the swapping and selling section that has a box of Hornady 338 FN he is trying to find a good home for, just in case J words tempt you.

Best of luck in your endeavor, sir!
Rights, and Privileges, are not synonymous. We have the Right to Bear Arms. As soon as the Government mandates firearm registration, and permiting, then that Right becomes a Privilege, and may be taken away at our Master's discretion.

I do not have actual load data, but I did look at the round in Quickload.

Factory ammo was said to push a 200 gr bullet to 2200 fps and there are lots of powders that look to exceed this by say 200 fps in a 24" gun including 748 and 4895. This kind of performance might be ok with traditional cast and lube, but also might work better if you go with powder coated bullets.

Unique should work great for practice ammo. I will give you a table that shows a range of Unique loads for a 24" gun. All of these are well below the ~44 ksi rated pressure for the round.

Reloder 7 should be somewhere between Unique and the full power powders. Quickload indicates 2300 fps is possible.

    Code:
    Cartridge : .33 Win.
    Bullet : .336, 207, 340-205-FN GC Q5
    Cartridge O.A.L. L6: 2.795 inch = 70.99 mm
    Barrel Length : 24.0 inch = 609.6 mm
    Powder : Alliant UNIQUE

CAUTION: Figures exceed maximum and minimum recommended loads !
