    Ziploc bags

I have a bad batch of gallon zip loc bags.
Looked on-line and found the site.
The web page, for contact, looks to have been taken down.
    Get a bad gateway message.

I'm sure others have been having the same problem with these bags.
When I try to open them the sealing strip pulls off the bag.
It's happening when I first open it and the next time for those that do work one time.
I wonder if it's being made in china now???
If so, just more chinese junk.

We freeze tomatoes, pumpkin chunks, and few other garden veggies in generic gallon freezer bags. For over a decade I’ve dropped them on the concrete floor to break the frozen veg up enough to fit in a pot. This year they split.

I've had that problem with the generic/store brand ones.
The name brand bags still work like the old ones did.

I went to the slider type bag close because of that! Especially if the bag was from the freezer, they self destructed way to often!

I'd just take back to wherever you bought them. May be imported, probably not....we can make junk just as well as the Chinese

I went to ziploc.com and at the bottom of the page, I clicked the contact us link, and it took me to a contact page with a form. I went ahead and sent them a message with their form... lamenting the discontinuation of johnsons paste wax. So it works for me.

800-558-5252 is the phone number that was on the form.

Shrinkflation comes in many forms. Especially getting less for more or the same amount of money! Not a new thing just a new reason for corporate wanting a better return for 'their' investors. Anyone try matching current lumber to lumber from the 1960s or 70s?

https://contact.scjbrands.com/en-us is the address for that page. I just brought it up again.

They responded to my email already. I was pretty surprised.

    The link worked.
    I sent them a email.
I wonder why I couldn't open it from the site.
    Thank you

Glad to help. Don’t know. Only thing I can think of is it’s possible that the link had been broken the first time when you clicked on it, then fixed, but it was cached in your browser.

I can't open these bags that look like they are made to be resealed. I have to scissor their stupid designs off and use a new bag. I think Aldi brand bags are horrible and use Great Value from WM. I reuse them too.

Yes, make sure you had a true ZipLock brand bag and not one of the other brands of the same design.
