    375 JDJ from short Hornady brass

    does the shorter Hornady 444 brass work just as well as any?

    i don,t think it will cause any problems at all, only a shorter neck. i have not tried it in my .375 jdj tc rifle. but would not be afraid to do it, if no regular 444 marlin case were available.Click image for larger version.  Name: DSCN0822.jpg  Views: 5  Size: 100.0 KB  ID: 322817

    Probably harder to get TC parts these days but is there a rimless case that could be reformed, hopefully very little trimming and swap out the extractor? I know the rim is desirable...

    3006 may work, but it looks like alot of work. i think i would bite the bullet and buy a 100 regular 444 marlin cases.
