#3 9mm brass great value! Especially since yellow brass is selling for double that price. Looking online I see that once fired brass de-primed and polished is going for average 6 cents each. Average case weighs 3.5 grains and at 80 pounds that is about 160,000 cases. Wow this is a great buy!

Your math is a bit off. There are 113.52 9mm casings per pound. 80# x 113.52 would equal about 9,081 cases. Still a lot, but not 160,000.

    Math correction?
    80 pounds multiplied by 7000 grains a pound equals : 560,000 grains
Average 9mm case weighs 3.5 grains.
Total 560,000 grains weight divided by 3.5 grains a case equals : 160,000 cases.

    Sam am I missing something?

First of all, nowhere in the post do I see the seller selling 80 lbs of 9mm brass. I do see him selling 13 lbs of 9mm brass for $80, however.
Second, where are you getting the figure of each 9mm case weighing 3.5gr? Go weigh a 9mm case--I *promise* you it weighs a LOT more than 3.5 grains--more like 60 grains on average.

Thanks for the information. I checked my scale it was set to grams. No wonder my loads are always hotter than load data!
