Will 50/50 beeswax/vaseline work to lube magnum bullets for use with smokeless powder

The old old NRA lube is 1/3 beeswax, 1/3 Vaseline, 1/3 paraffin wax.
It worked well.
I'd probably use less Paraffin, 10% is probably a good number to use to get the beneficial characteristics.

I use this with ATF and Ivory soap .
