Every once in awhile it comes up in swapping and selling, but i haven't seen it in stock at any of the normal online stores.

it does seem like its been a while since most places have had new in stock.
22-250 can be made from 250 savage , and or 243 win brass per the book of cartridge conversions.
i've never tried making this due to having a small stock of it, but shouldn't be hard if it came down to it.

I have an old Remington 788 in 22-250 that was shot out when I got it about 45 years ago. It hasn't been fired in many years. Newer Varmint rifles in other chamberings had replaced the 22-250 over the years but I recently did a brass inventory and found a BIG bag of brand new 22-250. Probably at least 500 pieces. So, I did the only thing a responsible shooter could do and ordered a new 22-250 rifle to avoid losing my brass investment! Got a knock on the door today and it was UPS bringing my new toy to me.

I would recommend putting a Request for Notification on all the websites you can find for brass and then checking your email frequently.

I got about 500 loaded cases from an estate sale for $45.00. The plastic boxes were worth most of that. I pulled the bullets, dumped the powder and reloaded with my normal IMR 4064 load. Free primers, 45 & 50 gr bullets and cases was nice. Along with the loaded shells, the box had 200 new WW cases, 200 new WW with WLP primers installed and 100 WW once fired. Tried to give the widow more but she said it should go to a good home and I was the only one that looked at the box all day. Sometimes even a blind squirrel finds a nut. Hope you find some.

I always wanted one that went the 223 and 243 route instead. Sounds like I’m glad I did because you can always find 243 brass it seems. I loaded 55 and 60 grainers so they fly just as flat…or flatter. Been out the last two days and haven’t seen any 22-250 stuff or I’d give you a heads up.

Sportmansgunshop dot com has new Sig Sauer brand brass in stock, and it's on sale.
