    I am ordering a Colt AR 6851.

I hope to buy a few Metalform 32-round magazines upon its arrival. This should be an excellent Home Defense carbine.

Get a case of hardball also. Where you are, you may need it, and keep your magazines filled. Just saying.

Gun $1100. Ammo 43 cents a pop. Sounds like fun.

I love 9mm AR's, very high cool factor. If I could pick any transferable I wanted it would be a 635.

    6851 is 7.62x39, not 9mm.

For home defense… not around here, but not everyone lives in the squalid suburbs with 20 yards between houses. I wouldn’t choose FMJ regardless.

My bad, I thought it was the 9mm.

At first glance I did too. Around here it would be a better choice. During the “summer of love” there were marches only a couple blocks from my house. My 9mm AR replaced the 12 bore bedside until the unrest passed.
