Thumbs up Small batch of pickled eggs....

Just four into a 1 pint pickle jar with its brine and some added from the jalapenos.
Originally made six, but one peeled badly and the other was too good not to have.

The hardest part of making pickled eggs is always waiting for them to pickle.

Most of the bars around here had a jar of pickled eggs somewhere. In season beets were added to it. deep fried chicken livers and gizzards were popular also.

They're gone. I couldn't wait. Have to make a new batch.

I make pickled quail eggs . My oldest boy likes them hot . I put a little jalapeño and some Serrano peppers in mine . I have some friends who go elk hunting in New Mexico every year. They always order several jars . I would hate to ride back with those guys !! 🤢🦨
Keep your powder dry and watch your six !!

I’ve got some eggs soaking in leftover garlic stuffed olives brine. I’m glad I saw this thread. I bet they are ready!

My wife got some 1/2 gallon jars just for pickled eggs. These are marinating in Frank’s hot sauce.

A friend of mine from back there made what he called "pickled eggs". No pickling juice, just beet juice only. Probly one of the nastiest eggs I have ever eaten

You just gotta make more than one jar ... while you are boiling eggs and making brine it's no more trouble to make two jars as it is one !

Now I'm thinking about "Pickled Eggs" ... I should have never read this !
