Lyman Pistol and Revolver Handbook, 3rd Ed.

Does anybody have this manual? I have Lyman’s 49th and Lyman’s Cast Handbook #4. I found an image online of the Lyman Pistol and Revolver Handbook 2nd Ed. that had .357 Mag wadcutter data with HS-7 powder. If the 3rd edition has HS-6 with wadcutters in the .357 Mag, then I will get this manual.

I have the Cast Bullet #3. It does list HS 7 with a wadcutter. If you want a copy, PM your email and I’ll send it to you.

I tried to attach that page, but it won’t work. Probably just me.

I do own it, and just checked for you.

The Pistol and Revolver #3 doesn't have any wadcutter loads for the 357mag. Seriously, not one in there. I checked the Lyman Cast Handbook #3, no HS-6 data, only HS-7. I also checked the Lyman 47th, no HS-6, only HS-7. Sorry, it doesn't look like any of them have what you're looking for.
Currently looking for a Lyman/Ideal 311419 Mold - PM if you have one you'd like to get rid of!

Wadcutters are typically loaded as low pressure ammo and HS-6 typically is a poor choice for this type of stuff.

However, if you really want to try, this is what Quickload says

    Code:
    Cartridge : .357 Magnum (SAAMI)
    Bullet : .358, 148, LEE 358-148-WC
    Cartridge O.A.L. L6: 1.590 inch = 40.39 mm
    Barrel Length : 5.7 inch = 144.8 mm
    Powder : Hodgdon HS-6

CAUTION: Figures exceed maximum and minimum recommended loads !
