    Mold for 30 Reece

I’m looking for a mold that to use for my 30 Reese Contender barrel. Something close to .309 135 Grain RNFP GC.

I see Missouri Bullet Company sells cast bullets like im looking for but I like to cast my own.

The closest I’ve found thus far is the LEE C309-150F but that is a tad heavier than I want.

    Any thoughts or recommendations?

Better off giving a throat, bore + groove diameters and rate of twist.
    Expected velocity?
    Just target or hunting?
I suppose 16-1700 fps with 4198 then you will need gas check or paper patched.

    Pb big 22lr loads ?

I've got one from Accurate that's about a hundred thirty grains . Flat nose and plain base with two small grease grooves . I think the number is 120-E but I really don't remember for certain . It was designed by BA Bore for the Badger cartridge and works very well there .

I've had pretty good results with a 311241 or a 311291 but they are both in the 150 grain range.

Lee makes a 120 gr GC round nose that may work for you. C309120R

Yeah, 135gr is a little nonstandard I believe. You shouldn't have a problem finding a 120gr, but the next "normal" step up is probably going to be a 150gr bullet. There are obviously exceptions if you're willing to go to more of a spire point. Such as the 145gr 'Elvis' bullet over at Arsenal Molds. Or if you want a flat point Accurate has the 30-140-L, 30-140-S, 31-130L, 31-135B and a few others.
Currently looking for a Lyman/Ideal 311419 Mold - PM if you have one you'd like to get rid of!

I second the 311-465, but it will be closer to 120 grains than 135. The Accurate 31-133b or 31-133c will likely strike your fancy.
