i have his buckshot molds.his handles screws will burn your hands like crazy so you must wear gloves which i hate or figure out how to modify them so you dont get burned.no sprue cutter so you need nippers also

I have several of his buckshot molds. They work well.

I put a couple wraps of blue masking tape around the handles to cover the recessed screws. I also wear gloves so the screws weren't really much an issue.

thinking about a .520 for a muzzle loader
14 balls plus the sprues per pour, that thing is going to get hot (and heavy) quick.

I have two of his molds and they work well. The handles do get hot so I use my welding gloves while casting.

You might find the Lee 6 banger .520 more to your liking. It beats clipping and they pile up fast. Track of the Wolf usually has them in stock

Yes just got mine in last week , it will get stuck up on the shelve with the other unfriendly user molds unfortunately the other moulds of that quality were made 150 years ago . Will not buy another.

Never bought the moulds, but I did look at the web site. What is the purpose of his 'X-flyer" .725" raised groove round ball?
It looks like the answer to a question no one ever asked.
