My Nephew needs a firing pin for his Savage Model 19A

    Greetings!

I am looking for a firing pin for a Savage Model 19A NRA rifle. The current firing pin has been chipped/worn-down and is not reliable. I've searched high and low and now I am coming to my cast boolits family to see if anyone has one that they would part with. I think the Model 19A, 19, and 23 are the same pin, but I am sure there is an expert here that knows better than I.

Any help would be appreciated. I can trade cash, check, pmo, chickens, goats, etc...

    Many Thanks!
    Max

Check with Numeric. They had a firing pin for my S&W Model 59 when I broke it.

I’d try the CMP, and the CMP forum. They may have some parts.

Thank you for all the replies, I am still searching for one. CountryGent, I may take you up on your offer if I cant find a serviceable pin in a month or two.

we can trade thank-yous and your welcomes. It shouldnt be to hard to make one or rework the old one. In a month or so it may be warm enough for me to get out in the shop again.
