Couple of Older 222 Remington Boxes

Can anyone give some approximate dates for these boxes? I know the 30-30 box is newer than the 222 Remington boxes, but that's about all I know. A friend gave me the 222 boxes for my collection, and I picked up the 30-30 as a partial box of ammo from the local gunsmith a few years ago.

All three looked like that in the 1970s.
The Federals had that neat shell carrier for your belt!

Thanks TbG. Yes, the Federals have the cartridge belt slides in the box. New Federals come with them too, at least the ones I have had within the last 4-5 years. I haven't bought 30-30 in that long. The new ones were opaque, where as the old ones are red. I find those to be handy when testing a few new loads.

I recall those Federal boxes from the 70's clearly. Still have several of them with the original brass intact with the plastic strips. I would have thought the two Remington boxes were pre-1970's. I started shooting in the mid 70's and they don't look like something I recall seeing currently for sale in stores at the time. I've only seen them in pictures a far as I know. I would guess they are from the 60's?

Thanks for sharing Tim. Sorry I missed this comment. Being a 30-30 guy and a Winchester, I love that silvertip box. I have a single 30-30 silvertip cartridge in my collection, but no box. Thanks again.
