    20 pieces of 45-90 brass

I’m in need of a few 45-90 cases to work with a new rifle while waiting for my Starline back order to come through.
    Thanks.

Good luck on that back order. I have had 45-2.6 back ordered for over two years.

I hear ya! I waited way over a year for 38-55, but it did finally come. The fact that they’re taking back orders means they’ll make some. Someday!

You didn't say what brand of rifle. If it's a Browning or new Winchester, you need 45-100 and trim back. They have long chambers.

    Gussy,
    It’s a 40-82 Crossno.

I can send you some R-P stretched 40-82 brass I got from Steve Rhoades I've never really needed. Was gonna start cutting some down for my 40-50 BN.

Man, I’d appreciate that Brian! That’s better than I’d hoped for! I guess you already have my address.

    Jim,
Your quest got me to thinking about some things I've been experimenting with lately. Rather than it get lost here I'll start a thread in the paper patch section about it.

Do you have a sizing die to convert 45-90 brass yet?

I’ve been using a Redding 40-65 sizing die. When the decapping stem is removed the hole is big enough to run a long case through the die. Necessity is the mother of invention. There’s probably a better way.
After the trip through the sizing die, I fire formed with 7 grains of Red Dot and corn meal. I don’t know where I’d ever find a set of dies for this particular cartridge. I currently have 13 cases I formed from some HDS basic brass that I happened to have.
