Getting my 35 Remington out to hunt

Put the old rifle up last year after hunting season. Figured the next day or so might be good to hunt her.

Good on you! Looks a lot like my Dad's, which is now mine. Will be the last rifle I ever let go of. Not much you can't do with a 336 in .35 Rem.

Well I don't like to hunt it in the rain which seems to be when I get to hunt the most. I have a 350 Legend AR that I get out for the messy weather and I seem to see more deer then. Both rifles are loaded with the same cast bullet at comparable velocities. However the week after Christmas are supposed to be pretty nice and it will get to do some morning sits with me.

Got one that looks just like it. shoots real good. I shoot the RCBS 200. It loves it. Mine's from 1978. Hate to say it's old, but guess it is

I have one in 35. Killed a big buck with in 2022. Just a fun gun. I also shoot the RCBS 200 grain in it.
