My mom has been put on a salt free diet. We are having our big family dinner at my house this Christmas, and have decided on a chili bar for the meal. I have beef, chicken, pork, and venison (both deer and elk) for the meats. I'm pretty sure I can get around the salt/sodium free requirement by soaking and preparing my own various beans and tomatoes, but I'm not sure how to get the flavors in without using salt.
And before we get into that argument, I'll consider both with and without beans.
