That's good price on a new Labradar. They usually only go on sale once or twice a year.
I've noticed a lot of Labradar's being sold on the secondary market lately. I'm wondering if people are selling their Labradars and getting the Garmin Xero C1 that was recently released. I'm pretty vested in the Labradar and don't see enough features on the Garmin to make me buy it. While I do like it's small size and some of the Garmin's features, I don't trust that Garmin will provide support for the device as long as I'd like. I've been burned by them a couple times when they stop supporting their devices (planned obsolescence) and you end up with a brick or something with limited functionality.

I just returned from using my new Labradar for the very first time. Functioned as advertised: no problems, no surprises. Getting up to from the bench when shooting a rifle to press the buttons for data review is kind of a PITA but I'm planning to look into downloading the software to link the unit, via Bluetooth, to my phone. That said, overall, it beats the heck out of my old Chrony so, for me, it's definitely a keeper.

Like the previous poster, I've had my own issues with Garmin customer support and that, along with the higher cost, tipped the scales to the Labradar.

I'd love to have one under my Christmas tree, but that isn't going to happen. I have two chronographs and don't use them at all, I'm not able to justify another one. Perhaps I'll sell the two I have and use proceeds toward the Labradar.

Dunno for certain but possibly could be done. Data is stored on an SD card and is easily accessible but there is only one mini-USB port which is in occupied when using an external power pack (as I am). However, if you're running on the internal batteries (6 AAs), that port could be used to connect to a laptop for download to a printer. Why print on the spot? Labradar has up to 16 Gig internal storage (depending upon capacity of your SD card) and storage ain't "one and done" so you can call up and review any stored string by selecting from the on-screen menu.

I'd rather not have my data anywhere near my pc. The old ProChrono Digital Chronograph could connect to a HP-82240 handheld printer and print out pretty nice receipts of you or your friends sessions on the spot.

You, obviously, associate with a better class of shooter. A thumbnail poll of the club where I've shot for more than 40 years indicates that less than 10% of the current membership reloads...the majority of those only for handgun...and most of the serious rifle guys have their own chrono.

If you are like me, I found the traditional chrony's a pain to set up and always worried about shooting it. Got a very nice deal on a Lab radar at my range from an older fella getting out of the long range rifle game with several nice extras. It is so easy to set up and no fear of damage while using it I find myself using much more often.

I resisted for years without one always seemed the guys that had them spent more time fooling around with them or they accidentally shot them. I’ve had my LabRadar since they first came out and couldn’t be happier with it.

I did not like the Lab Radar. I will say I'm more of a driver than a tinkerer. To me it was just to involved. Sold it and went back to traditional. I do not like load development anyway.

To rich for my blood. With that said anyone upgrading from a old cheapy I might be interested. My guests at the range keep shooting mine.
