MP 312440 Hammer O Thor top punch

Good evening, bought an MP mold the 312440 and it showed up with the wrong size top punch. Yes I have emailed MP mold both here and on his site and have gotten no response. Does anyone have a suggestion for an alternate top punch to use and where to buy? My sizer is an RCBS.

I use a flat top punch for just about everything.
My lubesizer is slightly out of alignment, either from the ram boring or tightening of the top punch. Therefore, a flat top punch sizes true where a fitted top punch sizes out of alignment, especially on longer boolits.

Fit the top punch to the boolit nose with a small ball of epoxy putty...
place in the cleaned top punch , grease the boolit nose (release agent ) .
Get everything lined up true and square , hold a little pressure on handle untill epoxy putty sets up and cures ( use slow harden kind) Now you have a perfectly fitted top punch .
For a temporary fit you can try Hot Glue fitting ... my glue must not be right because mine don't last long before falling apart ... Epoxy putty fitted punch will last twenty + years .

Right I could do that just don’t have a spare top punch big enough to do that. The one moment is too small

The one you have can be made into a flat top punch. Just grind it flat. I've done it and it works fine.

Better yet ... fill the cavity with epoxy putty or epoxy glue , let harden and sand flat .
Fill with hot glue and sand flat for a temporary punch .

The epoxy / hot glue fill is easier to reverse should you want to ...go back to it's original shape .

NOE is currently out of stock, but they sell flat top punches cheap for about any caliber you'd need. Obviously, on a large meplat, any top punch that'll fit down into your sizing die would suffice.
