WTB / WTT for 7x57 98 Mauser barrel

Looking for a good 98 Mauser 7x57 barrel. Sights not needed.

Will purchase outright or have an 8x57 barrel in very good condition, all original from an FN 98 action.

I also have a 7.65 x 53 barrel in very good condition that came off a 1909 Argentine 98 action. This barrel has had the sights removed and was cut from 29" to 24" and recrowned. I have a set of RCBS dies and some brass and bullets that could also go with it.

I only see one 7x57/98 barrel on thebay and it doesn’t look good enough for the money that they are asking.($99)
If you wanted 8 mm it would be easier for sure.

What kind of barrel? New or used? Military or sporter?

I can check with my father but it will be Christmas when I can.

Isnt that Chilean a small ring 95 action, if so the barrel is too small for a 98

If I remember right, the 1935 Chilean was built at THE Mauser factory.
I rebarreled a Steyr 98 action with with a 1935 Chilean 7x57 barrel long ago- it was a good one.
And a bump!
