    Oh, very nice. How do you like that the Miroku made Winchester? I have a 92 and love mine.

    No issues. Seems to be well made; finish, fit.

    Was it cool enough where you took the hog to make it worthwhile to attempt to cut it up and save the meat?
    Decreed by our Creator: The man who has been made able to believe and understand that Jesus Christ has been sent into this world by the Father has been born of the Spirit of God. This man shall never experience spiritual death. He will live forever!

    From what I have found hunting in central Fl. is that boars over 100-125 lbs tend to have a bad taste. Got lucky a few times & killed a bar or two (castrated male). One ran about 300-325 lbs. -06

    Sounds about right. I won’t keep ANY boars. Plenty of good sows around.

    What kind of ratio "boar to sow" do wild hogs run?

    More sows is all I know. Boars tend to run alone unless on a hot sow.

    This is exactly what I have come to. If it has Cajones, I leave it for the buzzards. Sometimes small boars taste ok. Every last one of them has that stink when you cook them. God knows we dont have any shortage of the cock roaches.

    Thank you sir. I’m really enjoying this rifle and caliber. My ranch is south/central Texas.

    Beautiful rifle.
    And I see from looking at the cartridge;
    That hog died from “The Blues”

    Thank you all for the comments. I have really enjoyed working on a load and working with this rifle to get it to a confidence level that is acceptable for hunting.
