Paper targets aren't your friends. They won't lie for you and they don't care if your feelings get hurt.

That's a cool video. A good reminder that you don't need Sitka or Kuiu gear. Just your Winchester Silvertips.

Thanks for posting Thumbcocker. My cabin/hunting land is in the lake of the woods area.
If liars pants really did catch on fire, watching the news would be a lot more fun!

I loved watching this. I didn't get started hunting until 1975 and I remember using Win Silver Tips as a boy. Best performing bullet I ever hunted with...so much so that when Winchester discontinued (sold out to Nosler)...I purchased thousands of them before they were gone from stock. I still have about 800 left of the .308" 180Gr (308Win and 30-06) and about 400 of the .308" 170Gr (30-30 and 303Sav) bullets. I've tried to find .358" 200s but alas...they must be gone...can't find them anywhere.

Anyway...great video...brings back memories of when I was a kid even 35 years after this video was produced.

Great video, thanks! Muzzle control leaves a little to be desired, though…

I too love those old videos.

There was some amazing hunting in those days and life sure seemed more simple then. I guess there is still some great hunting but life is definitely more difficult now.

    Thanks for sharing.
