33 Winchester

Going thru friend's safe of his Dad's old ammo we found box of 33 Winchester for an old lever action his Grandpa had. Be fun to shoot or even take a deer with the gun. But loath to shoot up something that is worth a couple of hundred dollars and irreplaceable.

Anyone make brass from 45-70 or cast boolets this size?

This is an older thread so there's talk about brass companies that are no longer in business, but it's a fairly straightforward process to make them.

Sounds pretty awesome, I'd like to see pictures of the old box and gun too. I've never shot one, but the local Cabelas had a 86 in 33 Winchester for a while that I drooled over a while.
