Don't have everything I quite want but should work half decent. Got em gas check and sized just gotta give em an acatone bath put em in the oven re size and load. The expander looks like it'll be a bit big on the case mouth but should .309 should be good for a .311 sized bullet... Idk might crimp a little for once but I hate crimping so idk. We will see. Can't be the worst thing my 1917 has eaten lol.

So was turning into something kind decent at 50yd but egh last two went crazy for some reason30gr of IMR 3031 was going a bit fast then what it was supposed to be but I'm using .311 bullets instead of .309 so that would explain that. Got bit of smoke too. This unique stuff needs to hurry up and become available so I can see what the fuss is . Finding any powder has been such a pain

4895 in the low 30s shoots well in .y 1917
Paper targets aren't your friends. They won't lie for you and they don't care if your feelings get hurt.
Your 100+ year old 1917 looks pretty good in that modern stock.
Not to mention those nice blue bullets!
What kind of speeds are you looking to get? If it’s fairly fast like 1900-2000fps, try using a slower powder. I have had good luck with H4831 and H414
If you want speeds in 1200-1500 range try a faster powder.

You could also play around with seating depth. Having the bullet lightly engraving the rifling when you close the bolt might help tighten up the groups too.

You've got an extreme spread of 84 fps with only three shots. Ignition and burn obviously is not consistent. If you have 2400 or 4227 try 20 and 23 gr respectfully.
